e426 Website Changes

e426 is proud to announce the evolution of it's website.

For some time, the web site and web presence of e426 has been of secondary importance.  The year since we started our journey has been very eventful, and has seen a lot of changes.  We have been very excited by these changes, and have tried to keep you in the loop with all of them.  But, now, a year after we formed, we are ready to reset and reapproach how we interact with our wider audience.

First, in keeping with our commitment to open source, we have migrated to Joomla.  Joomla is an award-winning content management system (CMS), which enables you to build Web sites and powerful online applications. Many aspects, including its ease-of-use and extensibility, have made Joomla the most popular Web site software available. Best of all, Joomla is an open source solution that is freely available to everyone.

"Integrating this into an improved social media presence, and focusing on member benefits, will allow us more transparency, more responsive proactive efforts, and enhanced customer service." stated Don Otis, the CTO at e426.  "We intend to continue to add features on a very aggressive schedule.  Some, the users will see; others, the clients will only know about because our increased efficiency."

Elizabeth Bean, the Director of Communications, added, "We are excited about being able to deliver up to the minute news and advice, about the opening of a forum for our members, and about our continued commitment to our goals."

We expect many changes in the coming months. We would appreciate any feedback.
