The Innovation Corps for America

About e426

e426 is a combination of a boutique think tank and a high-end business/technology consultancy - the "Innovation Corps for America." We provide strategy and emerging technology consulting to business, government and society.

If you’d like to engage us to assist you with a project, contact us! If you’re interesting in helping, also contact us!  We'll be happy to provide information about how we might be able to help you, or how you might help us by joining the organization and/or donating.

From the Team

Heraclitus is famous for his doctrine of change being central to the universe, as stated in his famous saying, 'You cannot step twice into the same river.'

Change. We have seen a lot of it, lately. Maybe too much of some kinds, not enough of others.  Some things do not change, though.  One of the most important is the need for people to help people.

e426 has as its purpose helping people. We help organizations, certainly.  But, we also help individuals - the unemployed, the underemployed, persons with special needs.  There are a lot of ways that we try to reach out.  Through social media, through consultation, from engagements to forums, we really want to help.

It has been true since our beginning - what e426 is to you is largely up to you. Some people have become involved in running the company, and you can see them on the Leadership page.  Others follow us on Twitter, or are members in LinkedIn.  Still others have reached out to us for help.  We welcome all of you.

IEEE & e426 Collaborate on Standards

Serious games are designed for the purpose of solving a problem. Although serious games can be entertaining, their main purpose is to train, investigate, or advertise. Sometimes a game will deliberately sacrifice fun and entertainment in order to make a serious point.

Whereas video game genres are classified by gameplay, serious games are not a game genre but a category of games with different purposes. This category includes educational games and advergames, political games, or evangelical games. The category of serious games for training is also known as "game-learning".

e426 and IEEE have teamed to begin the process of standards development in this robust and energetic landscape.  We are excited by the potential in this collaboration, and will be reporting on the progress as we move forward.
