The Team

Welcome to e426.org, a virtual organization whose talent pool comes from across America, enabling us to draw upon an extensive knowledge base to respond to the critical needs of businesses and organizations as they look toward a revitalized American economy of tomorrow. From global business leaders, research scientists, marketeers, Information Technology (IT) specialists, financial experts and educators — all play a critical role in our workforce and government development initiatives.

While we have a large pool of “resources”, there are a number of key individuals who have been responsible for getting e426.org up and running, and who are responsible for handling the day to day administration of the organization.

Here’s our leadership team:

Sandra L. Kearney, Founder and President

skearney Sandra is the founder and volunteer president of e426.org. She previously held several positions at IBM, most recently as the IBM Director for Global Initiatives and Programs focusing on government, business and national agendas.

An advocate of emerging technologies, Sandra held the position of IBM Director of 3-D Internet and Virtual Business Technologies and played a pivotal role in driving IBM’s Virtual Universe Community and technologies that were incubated within IBM’s global research laboratory network. Sandra’s track record includes development of strategies and programs for government, aviation and logistics, media & entertainment and financial services. Additionally, she was a Senior Business Analyst for the industrial Sector in IBM.

She currently serves on The Board of Advisors: Virtual World Certification / Curriculum at the University of Washington. She earned her Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Grand Canyon University.

Priscilla Rabb Ayres

Priscilla

Priscilla is an accomplished professional with expertise in financial services risk and compliance consulting. Her work with major financial institutions, regulators, and professional associations is focused on the transformation of risk management and compliance activities to delivery of enterprise business value. Priscilla has extensive industry experience, including work as an Associate Partner in IBM’s Financial Services Risk and Compliance consulting practice, as IBM’s Chief Regulatory Executive in the Global Financial Services Sector, and in investment and commercial banking.

Priscilla served for nine years in the Federal Government as a senior official in the Departments of Treasury and Commerce, as Director of the Trade and Development Agency, and as Senior Deputy Director in the State Department. Priscilla earned her MBA at Harvard Business School, Boston Massachusetts, with concentration in Finance, and her BA at Smith College, Northampton Massachusetts.

John Bailey

John has an extensive background in human factors psychology research and development with specialization in simulation and training, human-computer interaction, software development, and information technology (IT) services. As a research scientist at IBM Almaden Research Center, he improved the productivity of service delivery professionals ultimately advancing understanding of service systems and science. As the Lead User Experience (UX) Architect for IBM WebSphere Application Server, John drove significant improvements into all aspects of the user experience. He holds the distinction of producing one of the first psychology dissertations on training effectiveness of virtual environments; led the User Interface (UI) design and usability of an early graphical object-oriented analysis and design tool; and was the first UX professional to become a Lead Architect on the WebSphere Foundation Architecture Board. John is a former Research Fellow, with The Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Cynthia DuVal

Cynthia2Cynthia DuVal is the Founding Director of the Pacific Ethnographic Research Center located in Enumclaw, Washington.  She plays strategic planning, collaboration facilitation and subject matter expert (ethnography and innovation) roles on the e426 leadership team.

Working in collaboration with PERC partners, sponsors, volunteers and field research students Cynthia plans and facilitates research, education, advocacy and entrepreneurship programs that serve strategic innovation and sustainability goals and the Internet education and business development needs of rural populations.

She is currently leading several research projects for the Pacific Ethnographic Research Center.  These include Small Farm Life Along the Cascade Range and Internet Lifestyle in the Rural Wild West.  She also blogs about the future of work, innovation, imagination, creative collaboration, farm life,  emerging technologies and contemporary art.

Cynthia holds a BA in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Oregon and a MA in Educational Research from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Don Otis

An early adopter of software, hardware and emerging technologies, Don’s background spans the retail, printing and IT industries. He has been instrumental in the development, implementation and deployment of educational resources for IBM to further the knowledge of employees across the geographies for the enterprises’ hardware and software divisions.

Don is skilled at managing the transformation of complex materials into accessible formats, ensuring that information is easily consumed by target audiences, enabling them to make well informed buying and selling decisions fostered by better understanding. Over the course of his career he has been a featured presenter at industry and technical conferences. With a broad knowledge base in software technology, Don’s portfolio includes nearly a decade as a Lotus Notes and Domino development and virtualization specialist.

Rick Stanley

Rick Stanley

A senior marketing consultant, Rick is CEO and founder of Applied Millennium Consulting Solutions LLC, a Business Development and Channel Marketing Services company. He has enjoyed a 32 year career with IBM as a Marketing and Business Development professional spanning technical marketing, product analysis, strategic planning, marketing and promotion, and education development and delivery in both hardware and software product offerings and solutions. Additionally, Rick has a deep background extensive in collaborating across all business partner channels and industry sectors, spanning hardware and software solution offerings.
In recent years Rick had served as the IBM North America SMB Marketing Manager for Competitive accounts, and Marketing Manager for Wireless and RFID Emerging Technologies contributing to achieving growth targets of generating several million dollars of IBM revenue. Rick’s holds a Worldwide patent (U.S. Patent 5,504,905) for designing and implementing an industry first PC systems management startup feature in a network environment. Rick’s has other numerous recognition achievements including membership into IBM’s 100 Percent Club and Golden Circle, 3 IBM Means Service awards, NDD Vice Presidents Award, and is a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club, and is also is a US Navy veteran.

Rob Wunderlich

Rob brings nearly 20 years of experience in collaborative and social software to e426, and has been volunteering as e426’s webmaster and social technology ‘enabler’. He’s a senior level IT professional with extensive background ‘bridging the gap’ between business and technology. His track record encompasses varied roles including evangelist, technical sales, product manager and social media marketing. Comprehensive expertise bolstered by certifications spanning multiple technologies. Published author, keynote speaker, skilled technical presenter, certified instructor, avid blogger, web and wiki master, community advocate and project leader.
